

Dr. Kim was invited to serve as a GRAMMY Awards Voting Member beginning in 2024, and from 2025 she has also been selected as a Mentor for the GRAMMY Awards Mentorship Program!
Also, she was invited to be an Orchestra Conductor in Residence in Estonia, and was elected as an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music in London.
World Record! On May 18, she performed the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Venezuela in a World Premiere concert, where she played Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 and her own harp concerto, Rendezvous.
This marks the first time in music history that a soloist has performed two concertos on two different instruments which are harp and piano with an orchestra on the same stage! Also she gave harp and piano masterclasses at Mozarteum Caracas.
This March, she was invited to be a judge and lecturer of the Hampton Road Harp Festival and Competition.
This July, she set another world record by conducting the orchestra while simultaneously performing as solo harpist, giving the European premiere of her concerto Rendezvous in Estonia. She was also invited to serve on the harp and piano faculty at a festival in Estonia and at the InterHarmony Festival in Italy.
In August, she conducted masterclasses at the Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology in Hyderabad, the Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai—where she also presented the Asian Premiere of her own harp concerto Rendezvous—as well as at the Furtados School of Music in Mumbai, the Delhi School of Music, and the Neemrana Music Foundation in Delhi.
This November and December, she has been invited to be the Mentor for HIVE Lab at IIT Kanpur, Mentor for Scholars at Marharshi Dayanand University, Mentor for all teachers at Furtados School of Music, and Judge of the Band -It Competition, and to give masterclasses and lectures at 25 colleges around the world.
Her orchestra composition Rendezvous is invited to have its American Premiere in March, 2026.
