Dr. Kim was elected as an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music in London this year.
She has four upcoming projects. In May, she will conduct the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Venezuela in a world premiere concert while performing as a soloist, playing 2 instruments.
For summer, she is invited to conduct the festival orchestra at the International Music Festival in Tallinn, Estonia, in addition to holding a piano and harp faculty position.
Currently, she is composing a dual concerto for piano and harp, to be premiered in London.
